Machinery installation ensure project success

Glass machinery installation is the final stage of the entire glass processing project and one of the most critical parts. To ensure the smooth progress of the installation, the process have begun many months previously in a country half way around the world. Before the machine is shipped, the machine has been engineered for system assembly, mechanical commissioning, electrical commissioning, process commissioning, unpacked, and labelled; then when the machine arrives at the factory site, our professional engineers will perform the equipment reassemble, re-adjust, connect to the basic service, and then conduct detailed tests to ensure that it works at the highest operational efficiency when it is finally put into production.

According to the needs of the project, the mechanical installation team is usually composed of experts in mechanical, electrical and technical process production.

Installing glass machinery, whether in a brand-new production line or an existing line, can be challenging. To make the process as easy as possible and to save yourself time and money by decreasing the potential for downtime, BolayMac’s installation team has developed a detailed installation solution for the customer before installing any glass machinery.

• Glass machinery placement position and working direction are followed the instrument as per agreement of project management.
• Environmental conditions of the plant. The environmental data is very important for designing the machine (altitude, maximum and minimum weather temperature and humidity).
• Plant floor thickness required for your new equipment. Buyer has to complete the civil work as per our requirement before machine arrival.
• Installing new equipment may force you to relocate existing components depending on the size and layout of the new equipment. Make sure that all relocating is done before installation begins, to avoid installation delay and production downtime.
• Accessory equipment should be prepared before glass machinery arrival, such as cranes and forklifts for unloading and positioning, rack for big float glass sheet, portable rack for processed glass. Please talk to BolayMac’s sales manager for drawing guidance.
• Power supply. Transformer capacity should be confirmed with BolayMac’s sales manager, because it will affect the entire plant’s machine power load.
• Machine wiring cables. Connecting wires and cables from the transformer or power distribution cabinet to all the electrical cabinets of the equipment should be prepared before glass machinery arrival. Please purchase the appropriate cable according on the actual wiring
• Preparation of on-site installation material of power, water, compressed air according to the “Check-list of Equipment Installation Conditions”.
• Glass for trial of different glass machinery should ready.
